TL;DR - New content is going up on Instagram, and reposted to Facebook if you prefer it there.
It took me a good 3 minutes to remember how to make a new post on the Squarespace backend. 3 Minutes. What the hell.
A post in the /r/melbourne subreddit about the best parmas in Melbourne recently renewed a bit of interest in ParmaDaze and I had a bunch of people messaging me, asking if we had quit parma reviews for good - Which reminded me that I never actually told anyone what had happened and as far as anyone who just visited this site was concerned I haven’t eaten a parma since March 2021 … whoops!
Long story short - Life got busy (kids, work, the whole shebang) and both getting out weekly to eat a parma and taking the following day to write a few hundred words about the parma got harder and harder to accomplish, but I still love doing it - So rather than shut down entirely I decided to evolve, do what the kids are doing and pivot to shorter form content over on Instagram. That way I can still smash out some thoughts on any parma I come across in my travels without having to dedicate a day to writing it up/editing photos/all that jazz.
So if you want the new stuff, follow us on Insta. There’s a bunch of new parmas there if the last thing you heard from us was the Royal Saxon review. If you don’t like Insta anything I post there gets reposted automatically to our Facebook. If you don’t like Facey you’re welcome to follow me on Twitter, but I warn you now that its not… its not very good.
And if that still isn’t enough we’ve got a subreddit and a super secret discord server.
I’m not gonna say we’ll never post long form content here again, because that would be silly, and I’ll keep the old reviews up for the sake of posterity for as long as I can afford the Squarespace bill.
Now go follow our Instagram before I get desperate and start posting TikToks.
